Who we are

What we collect
We collect two things, and only two.
- What you type into the contact form. That is your name, your email address, your mobile number and your message. Nothing on this site asks for anything else, and there are no accounts and no payments.
- Anonymous usage measurements, when analytics is switched on. That covers which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from and what kind of device was used. We do not record your screen, run surveys, watch for dead clicks or measure page performance.
Why we collect it
Contact form details are used to answer your enquiry and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details. Usage measurements tell us which pages are worth keeping and which are not, which is our legitimate interest in running a useful site.
Who processes it for us
The contact form is delivered by Formspree, which receives your message and forwards it to us. Usage measurements, where enabled, are processed by PostHog. Both act on our instructions.
Our own site is served from a server we control in the European Union. Where a processor moves data outside the UK, it does so under the safeguards its own terms set out.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the enquiry is live and for as long afterwards as an ongoing commercial relationship makes it useful. Ask us to delete it and we will. Usage measurements are aggregated and are not tied back to a person.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
